One of the best self help books I have read in a long time. This is a guide to helping people overcome addiction issues of all kinds....alcohol, drugs, food, smoking etc. It also provides explanations for why we do the things we do even though we know its bad for us and tips on how to treat ourselves better and overcome our issues. The main message of the book is about healing ourselves with kindness towards ourselves.
