I picked a bad book to read when the world got very scary tbh.
This was engaging and readable but I wish it stuck closer to the historical facts of the Harold Shipman case rather than wondering what Shipman or his wife or victims were thinking all the time. A lot of what he said was just impossible to prove - if you‘re interested in Britain‘s most prolific serial killer it‘s a good read but more a novel than a history.
