Here are authors ranging from Kathy Acker to James Baldwin, Truman Capote to Stanislaw Lem and George Orwell to Shirley Jackson; essays radical and inspiring; poems moving and disturbing; stories surreal and fabulous; taking us from the deep South to modern Japan, New York's underground scene to the farthest reaches of outer space.

It‘s been a minute since I‘ve been on Litsy- so obviously catching up with posting all that I‘ve read in the past 7 months (which is surprisingly a lot!). But I‘m mostly excited to share my lovely Penguin Modern Classics Book Set I purchased in January, which I‘ve been steadily working through. So far, 20/50. I‘ll begin with the reviews on this list too, shortly. Exciting times ahead! For the rest, as ever, my reviews are on www.anushareflects.com

TalesandTexts This looks so exciting. Good luck with the rest. 3y

4/5⭐

This book contains 2 essays by Wendell Berry about things like technology, feminism and living your best life. I thought it was really thought-provoking! It's a tiny book, only 48 pages, but not a book to overlook.
