Tagged book was the tag line between my dad and me after he gave me the pick for his BOTM. I was the last to leave his nest. I only remember that I loved the book way back when. There‘s seldom a month that goes by when this tag line is not part of my vernacular with someone - and most know the origin.

marleed @JanuarieTimewalker13 My dad was a voracious reader and seldom gave up his BOTM pick so this was significant. I lost the original book years ago but the tag line and story is a constant in my communication. I actually teared up when I found this copy in the wild last summer. 5y

Nute I read this post three times. I love hearing about a reading relationship between parent and child. It‘s a beautiful lasting memory. So happy that you have this way to keep your dad close. 5y
marleed @JanuarieTimewalker13 @Bklover @Nute. Oh thank you. He was the best. My mother passed away when I was two so we adored my dad. I have a small shelf of hometown books (Butte MT) and this book is nestled in there with them because it feels so much like home to me. 5y
JanuarieTimewalker13 That stays with you lifelong. My dad died when I was 8 months old, but my mother was an amazing woman. When you are loved well, the love remains❤️ the one parent becomes 2, to the best of their ability. 5y
