This is a fascinating look into how America has developed the offensive branch of its clandestine service. It‘s a long read but the detail doesn‘t get into the weeds. There is no play-by-play detail about the events that occur. Instead Jacobson keeps the story on point weaving her way through the complex maze of CIA and military activities that the government authorized but does not acknowledge.

I have been sick, finally better, do it took me awhile to get this read. It's about the CIA Paramilitary Armies, Operators, and Assassins. Without these brave men and women, I don't think our country would be as safe as it is.
