Yep, as expected, satisfying mystery with a nice safe ending with the edges smoothed off. Which is a good thing, when it comes to classic mystery series, I hasten to add.

Not sure what I'll read next, but not more Bellairs yet, I think. Kindle Unlimited does have a whole bunch, though!

I've been feeling a bit meh about reading today, but it turns out what I needed was a decent mystery. Bellairs is becoming one of my favourites of the authors featured in the British Library Crime Classics series, like E.C.R. Lorac. There's just something satisfying about his mysteries... and they don't go in for the psychological clever stuff like Julian Symons (who is a better writer).

Tearing through this!
