pickOkay this book hooked me right from the start which is surprising. I'm not normally one for contemporary set fantasies most of the time but this really worked for me! I think between having Horace's magical box and Chloe's dragonfly, I'd want to go with a dragonfly so I can walk through stuff but both of their abilities were used really well throughout the whole plot. Evil guys were very traditional evil but that's cool. I loved Horace's mom too.
