Finished book 2 onto book 3
Finally been able to start reading this year. I've been too injured before now after ripping the muscles in my ribs. I've returned to this author as I liked her work before and needed something I knew I'd like. Enjoyed this book, wish it had more story but hoping it'll continue slightly in the next book. Hope you're all OK, happy reading 📚💙📖

This is the 3rd series I'm reading by this author. I was pleasantly surprised to see it continues from the last series I read, the scarred mage. Going well so far, onto book 2.

I'm struggling to come to the reality I'm at the end of this series. I've not read since July. I read this by chance. Timing was perfect, I have never connected to a character more than Faraine, me being an empath reading this story about Faraine also an empath. The pains, isolation, banishment due to this "gift".... its hit me hard at a time in my life I felt so alone. I will never forget this series. A great tale with great characters
A fitting new book for the new month, excited for this one.
