I believe I was 16 years old when
I picked up Shadows and Lace. I bought a bunch of books at a yard sale and I had no idea that this was a romance. When I got home and opened the cover, I saw the inner cover...there was a sexy girl with a hunky man. I rolled my eyes but I decided to give it a try. All I can say, I was hooked! BTW, my teenage self was glued to the sex scenes. 😅
