Nothing scares Jimena. Nothing, that is, except the reappearance of Veto, who was once the love of her life. That terrifies her, because Veto was killed a year ago by a rival gang. Or was he? Jimena discovers that he has made a devil's bargain which could cost both of them their lives.

Pickpick

The author keeps the characters consistent and really sells their backstories. A bit predictable but still a good read

That was a lot better than I remembered. I don‘t think I liked Jimena that much as a kid, but I can appreciate her more as an adult. She‘s reformed from gang life, so she has a ‘jaguar‘ side. I think she is the most loyal and intense out of the goddesses. I like that the series brings in various incarnations of ancient moon goddesses. Last time it was Hekate, this time it was Diana. Also incorporated Tartarus, boatman, and Cerberus.
