Lizzie McGuire: Just Like Lizzie - Book #9
Lizzie McGuire: Just Like Lizzie - Book #9: Junior Novel | Jasmine Jones
1 post | 1 read
When Lizzie goes to a local modeling tryout, she gets a contract with Teen Attitude magazine. Totally cool, right? Wrong. Everyone-even her very best friends-are treating her like a celeb, and Lizzie hates it. Plus, a new girl likes Lizzie so much, she starts to imitate her. But who needs a living clone?

Taking a night off from reading to enjoy a trip down nostalgia lane! Lizzie McGuire premiered when I was 10 and it was such an important part of tween/adolescent years. Lizzie was smart, spunky and super awkward just like I was! It was honestly so great to be able to see someone on tv who was just like me and rewatching the show has been a joy. Who were your tween heroes??

Megabooks See my post. I had screwed up tweenage years, like a lot of Gen Y/pre-Disney kids. 🤷🏻‍♀️😆 5y
reelsndreads Omg @Megabooks what a trip!!! I feel like I definitely had some shows that I‘ve questioned my parents on like “you let me watch this??? really??” but other shows they wouldn‘t allow just because they didn‘t like them (my dad in particular really disliked the art style of many 90s and 2000s cartoons so I wasn‘t allowed to watch Spongebob etc lolll) 5y
Megabooks Interesting! I was in high school/college by all of those, but I did really like Rugrats and named two dogs I fostered after Tommy and Chuckie! 5y
