My county courthouse has a "Quiet Room". Is it weird that I'm excited to get through orientation so I can go sit in the Quiet Room to read?

Bookzombie I have been to jury duty and if I don't get picked for a panel, it feels like a day off. I can sit and read and they usually release us mid-afternoon. Lol And work pays me for the day. 7y

DGRachel This is the first time I've ever had Jury Duty. I went 32 hours without sleep yesterday because of work deadlines. I know this is terrible of me, but all I want to do is find an isolated corner, curl up under a table, and sleep. Last night's 6 hours was NOT enough. 7y

DGRachel @rubyslippersreads Shh! Don't give away my secret weapon for avoiding the actual trial duty! 😂😂 I've actually been here almost 7 hours and haven't even been called into a courtroom as a potential juror. I'm dying from boredom. 😳😴
