Mehso-so

My last book of 2017. This sucker took me forever. I used to love watching Dick Cavett‘s show and part of the reason it took me so long to get through the book was because I kept watching his shows on YouTube. This is a book of short essays he wrote for the New York Times. If you‘re older, you‘ll remember all the actors he‘s talking about. There‘s a lot about Groucho Marx, Jonathan Winters, Jack Paar and Johnny Carson. Unfortunately, it was so-so.

The man with the tractor tire is waiting impatiently for the mechanic to deal with it. Thank goodness I have a book.

LauraBeth If your first sentence was the first sentence of a book, I‘d buy it 😀 7y

Cathythoughts I think that‘s Stephen Kings advice : always have a book with you .... just in case (edited) 7y
Suet624 @Cathythoughts Absolutely! And if I forget my book I have Serial Reader on my phone so I can get back to Tolstoy‘s Kingdom of God is Within You. 😀👍 7y
