Pickpick

A rare reread for me, I remembered reading this as a preteen and loving it and suddenly felt I needed to read it again. This was just as good as I remembered, so acidic and funny, and Julian Fellowes makes the aristocracy come across just the right amount of relatable and bizarre.

This wasn‘t my favorite listen. I loved watching Downton Abbey and I looked forward to reading a book by its creator but this was just a bit too much for what I needed now.

A bit of perseverance was required to get through this as it was a bit drawn out. I didn‘t particularly like the ending either! Overall a thoroughly average read.
