@Aimeesue This past weekend, I actually went with @Merethebookgal and @Nitpickyabouttrains to collect some more library cards. Here are some options for stocking up if you don't have them already!

jmtrivera @ljuliel The 8 seen here. I have one to the Library of Congress too, but as I'm not planning any major academic research any time soon, he just sleeps in my wallet. 😂 5y
ljuliel Are all of these online ecards only or do you visit the libraries in person ? I‘ve been to lots of libraries in our area, but most are in one or the other system, I guess you‘d call it. So you can use the same card at several dozen libraries throughout the state. I have one ( ecard) one from another state , but find that most states say you have to live in their state or county to get a free card. I‘ve never tried any of the online payable cards. 5y
jmtrivera @ljuliel I've visited most of these libraries in person at one point or another, but I typically stick to the one closest to me for regular patronage. We have a lot of counties close together in the DC/Northern VA area, which is why they allow people to obtain cards across county lines. It's super useful for checking out ebooks! 5y
