It was girls‘ day today. Daughter and I met up with my sister at “market day” at a little city, San Marcos, between Austin and San Antonio. Afterwards daughter and I found this bookstore in San Marcos. Wow! It was truly impressive. I got a few books but mainly bookish gifts for my husband and son. And maybe a lot of handicrafts from market day! 😊
I never knew that there was a Books a Million in San Antonio, but it‘s permanently closed. 😞
DrSabrinaMoldenReads I did not know they are still open. 4w
marleed My funniest BAM memory. 10-15 years back I took my hs daughter to many Irish festivals so she saw 100s of men in kilts. But one Sunday morning she ran to the aisle I was in to have me witness a kilted (older, heavy) man in BAM. We turned in the aisle at his backside as he bent over (commando) for a newspaper - there wasn‘t much air between his ankles. She screamed. There‘s no sound to my laugh of hilarity but I was blinded by my tears🤣 4w
Texreader @marleed Best litsy post ever!!! 😂😂😂😂 4w

marleed That was a vision my 16yo daughter could have never imagined. I doubt it was the man‘s intentions to bare his bounty to a mother and daughter and was likely not my best parenting moment. But it was so damn funny, and Gwenna cracked up too seeing my reaction We immediately headed to the exit and laughed unfiltered all day. I also appreciate the bladder of my younger self as that same amount of laugh would produce different results today😬 4w
