Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine
**
Military and police killing unarmed, peaceful #endsars protesters in my country Nigeria.
I'm trying to stay sane but it's hard.
In the arms of a novel I find solace when I manage to escape the chaos of social media.
We would be fine like Eleanor.
Or not.

This quote sums up why I really like Mike Bowditch - now if we could all be true to our own values and do good work the world would be a nicer place.

Came home from visiting family to find a package full of wonderful Secret Santa goodies, it was definitely worth the wait, thank you so much PatriciaU. Can‘t wait to read the rest of my break away 😊

PatriciaU I‘m so glad you are enjoying the stuff I sent! I‘m sorry your original SS experience was disappointing, and really want you to not give up on swaps/exchanges. 99% of the time, you will get a totally awesome swap partner. I‘ve had so much fun with both the giving and receiving in Litsy exchanges. The people here are the best! 6y

The story was a little tamer than the title implies, but I enjoyed it. Instead of a hard-bitten detective, this series features a game warden in the woods of Maine. At times the characters were on the edge of being two dimensional but I liked them anyway. The solution to the mystery was disappointingly obvious, but I liked it anyway. I really shouldn't have enjoyed this book, but I did. Perhaps the setting was novel enough.

Reading this book at my fave Maine beach today. Sun, sand, hotheaded but goodhearted Maine game warden. It's a great day ! ❤️😍📚
