The ancient races, the Vadhagh and the Nhadragh, are dying. By creating Mankind, the universe has condemned Earth to a pestilence of destruction and fear. Prince Corum is the last remaining Vadhagh. He sets out on a crusade of vengeance against the forces that slaughtered his family and his race, to challenge the unjust power of the puppet masters of Man: the Lords of Chaos. Supper's in the oven, tea is steeped, and I have a stack of books ready for #LitsyPartyofOne! (party of two, in this case) Let the reading begin!

TobeyTheScavengerMonk Great editions! I love Elric, but haven't ventured much further into Moorcock. 7y
TK-421 @TobeyTheScavengerMonk I have several editions of Corum, but I love the cover art on these. Elric is my favourite incarnation of the Eternal Champion, but as I reread Corum, I'm thinking he's a close second. Eventually, I want to read all of Moorcock's Eternal Champion novels, but so far I've only read Elric, Corum, Hawkmoon, and Oswald Bastable. 7y
TobeyTheScavengerMonk @TK-421 I impulse bought a Von Bek omnibus quite recently, so he might be the incarnation I take a shot at next. 7y

Mehso-so

Whelp, I was a little disappointed here. I've heard such amazing things about Moorcock, but this one was just meh. The characters felt flat, the story too bare-bones, some of the plot seemed stuck on with post-it notes. I won't be reading the rest in the series
