Had anyone read this yet

A so-so partially due to Amazon's tagline of "...with a hilarious retelling of Jane Austen." You can't set me up for 'hilarious' when a book is only occasionally mildly humorous. Emma is not an easy character to modernize with her general cluelessness unless we are talking about the movie Clueless.?The media/boyband setting wasn't really my thing yet I read on to see how it worked itself out. Not the worst Austen redo for $1, but not the best...

Starting the 3-day weekend with errands which of course means starting at my neighborhood coffeeshop & treating myself to my beloved cold brew coffee☕️with coconut milk & avocado toast with spicy garlic aioli outside while I finish up my grocery list🥑🍞💚There are other books I'm reading but I wanted something light & fun & this Emma retelling sounded like it might fit the bill.
