The Easton family has just moved into an old house and Alice, the youngest, is excited to explore the new place. Her excitement turns to dread as she discovers a child's drawing of a family just like hers under the wallpaper. When family members begin to disappear, it is up to her to unlock the mystery before she becomes the next victim.

Mehso-so

Started off well, the author set the scene perfectly & it was rather creepy. Things did go downhill about halfway, & I did feel disheartened about the future of Baxter the cat as soon as he was mentioned. 3⭐️

TW: death of a pet, mention of sexual abuse.

Thanks to NetGalley & publishers, Flame Tree Press, for the opportunity to read an ARC. #NetGalley

Pickpick

This was a very creepy book. The ending was crazier than I could have imagined. After moving into a weird old house, strange things start happening. No one seems concerned except the youngest daughter. Kept me in suspense until the end.

I received a free review copy from Flame Tree Press in exchange for my honest review.

Pickpick

From the creepy atmosphere of the new, big house that no one else wanted to the eerie little occurrences that everyone denies, the shifting moods and temperaments of the family members to the freak snowstorm that has everyone housebound, the author did a very good job of setting the scene and drawing me in.

*Thank you to Netgalley, the author, and publisher for an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review*
