This book had a solid plot, and some great characters, but for some reason it felt really slow. We seem to take a few breaks and tangents from the main plot, such as flashback of the main characters, and on the one hand it feels well woven into the main story but for some reason it detracted from the overall book for me. #screamathon

Really didn‘t like this book, as much as I was interested in its hook. It failed in creating any real horror, even though it had a great premise.

Rosalyn is running from her past & is a scavenger (space janitor) that cleans up after research expeditions in space. After many mistakes on the job, she is given one last chance to prove herself - salvaging a research vessel that has gone dark & the crew dead. But Rosalyn is surprised when she finds the crew not dead but alive. Now she‘s trapped with parasitic alien infected humans.

I rather enjoyed this sci-fi, horror, space themed book!

My September reading stack, did pretty good. Still not everything I wanted to get to, but I got reading done and that‘s the important part 😊 #Salvaged was a fun, intriguing read. Loved the #TheGoodLuckGirls. #MagicForLiars was a great audible listen, the narrator was phenomenal. #ADreamSoDark was a fantastic continuation of A Blade so Black. Most of my reading this month was thanks to #Netgalley.

Today‘s reading is #Salvaged by Madeleine Roux thanks to #Netgalley. I‘m really looking forward to it, I‘m on a space kick right now.
