pickI went into this book knowing nothing about it. That‘s why I didn‘t know where the first about 60 pages would leave me. But then I did. (And it was good that I accidentally decided to make a break before that point yesterday evening. So I could start with the turning point today. Good decision.)
Yes, overall it‘s a good book. In the end I recommend it. But, sorry, not sorry for me Kurt was an a**ho** in a few places.
Meanwhile there is a hot summer in my book. Really hard summer. High summer. 30 °C, that‘s 86 °F – and now I have a craving for summer, sunshine, my tiny nice balcony and a little bit of shadow, cold beverages and chitchats with my neighbour across the courtyard.

Additionally, I didn‘t even make it near the end of the book yesterday. I forgot, but I was only at about page 40. To read 120 pages in less than 1,5 hours is a bit over ambitious, isn‘t it❓
Now that my parcel was _finally_ delivered, I snuggle up in my reading nook with some nice hot chicory coffee and enjoy my book while the sun warms my neck. 💛
I started this one yesterday and was surprised by how tiny insured it is, only about 170 pages.
I was also surprised by the setting. Seemed quite unusual to me because it starts with a happy couple instead of ending with one. Well, you know, maybe Sarah Kuttner also grew up. 😉 You never know.
But I like it that it still feels and sounds like a Kuttner-novel.
If I don‘t get stuck here on Litsy too much I might be able to finish those tonight.
Look, what I just discovered by chance in my library (and of course I checked it _immediately_). It has already been in March 2019. ?

I completely missed out on that. Okay, back then I bailed on ?? „180° Meer“ because I just couldn‘t stand that protagonist – but that‘s no reason to just notice nothing she writes, anymore … ?
