This is the 7th book in the Poppy McVie series. Poppy is a federal agent tasked with investigating crimes related to wildlife. This one was quick, at only 205 pages. I felt like it wrapped up too quickly. I would have preferred a little deeper foray into the plot. These books are quick, simple reads and this one was exactly that. If these books weren‘t offered as Kindle Unlimited, I don‘t think I‘d continue the series.
