What a mixed bag my October reads were 3 5star reads , 1 4.5 🌟3 x 2 stars 🌟 which means disappointing, to me anyway 😆 & 2 3 stars 🌟😮BOTM joint winners 🏆 for my Fav books A beautiful way to die & The hounding , both blew me away with exceptional writing ✍️ 😍

My reading stats for October

I had a fun time reading scary books for October. As a matter of fact, I'm still in the middle of a few, so my Halloween is just going to have to extend into Spooky November. 👻🦃

I had a blast this Halloween. We handed out candy to over 100 kids, ordered Chinese, and watched Rocky Horror. It was perfect. 🎃

Pretty solid reading month, best of the month was So Thirsty.

October wrap-up.

I somehow read 34 books in October! A lot of comfort/rereads and a lot of audio!

This month was quantity over quality with no 5 star reads. ☹️ So it may be tough for me to choose a favorite book this month.

It was a pretty good reading month. Impossible Creatures was my favorite, and I also especially enjoyed the latest Tana French.

It looks like Beautyland is the odd book out in terms of the color story. 😄

This is Corey, the outgoing guy among my friends‘ cats I watched earlier in October. He‘s missing a tooth which makes him look a little cranky, but he‘s actually very sweet. Eventually the two girl cats came around and tolerated my presence.

Anyway, I didn‘t get that one last book finished, but I still think my #wrapup is pretty respectable. Tom Lake was my favorite for the month.
