One of my sisters recommended this and then checked on my reading status. Ahh TBR, but when a library purchase request dropped it on my virtual lap - well there you go. Goodreads seems to give this either a 1-or a 5-star rating. Although this might not meet my 5 star requirements, I really did enjoy the sibling bond, and yes, I cried. The grandma may not have been realistic but she was great comic relief.

Maybe I needed to cry, maybe I just released every stored sad emotion I had in my on the last pages of this book. Henry just might be one of my favorite people ever. I am sad he is fictional.

I love Cathy Lamb. I loved Henry‘s Sisters. I laughed, and I cried. Her stories are honest, heartbreaking and sometimes funny. Her characters are nutty, flawed, but heartachingly lovable. Her books are like your favourite food you want to savour it, you want to take it slowly, so you can enjoy every bit of it. This book belongs on every reader‘s bookshelf.....you will love it!

If you read this book be prepared to spend the final 60 or so pages sobbing your eyes out. 😭

This book is about family and the love that families share through good times and bad. I really enjoyed this book though there are some really tough parts to read and obviously there will be tears for the last part. The characters were great and make you feel what they are feeling.

At lunch trying not to cry. This book really gets you connected to the characters and now something bad has happened. Ugh. Wish I could go home to finish but alas I must return to work.
