I bought this today, looking so forward to reading it..the pain the people felt in Nova Scotia, and the grief my country felt when this happened.

Since I haven't been able to read, cause my mind keeps wondering I thought I would read a favorite author of mine. (May she RIP). I've saved this one. Don't know why, but hopefully this will help me get back to being able to read without my mind wondering

This was a great book if I do say so myself. Listening to the story and the narrator doing such a great job. I loved it, very well written and a book I would recommend.

nichollinlove I really liked the Author's Note as well. There was a lot of real history intertwined with the fiction. I learned a lot about a margin of women I didn't know existed prior to this book. 6mo

This was an ok read, took me quite awhile to get through it, it just was one of those books you read, then put down, then decide you will see if more interesting stuff is happening, (nope) then down goes the book again

The Winners (Beartown #3) | Backman Fredrik

Ok I just noticed that there is a third book in THE BEARTOWN SERIES. I want to know if anyone has read it, and what they thought of it.
I read BEARTOWN and really liked it. The second one was US AGAINST YOU, I liked it but it was a weird read, this third one I'm really on the fence as to whether I want to read it (and find out how the characters are doing). And not reading it because I'm scared it will flop.
What do you think?

marleed Ohh, I didn‘t realize a book 3. I think I can‘t resist! 6mo
Prairiegirl_reading I loved Beartown and the second was even better, in my mind. This is an auto-buy for me without any hesitation. 6mo
bookaholic1 @marleed I think I won't be able to resist either, lol 6mo
bookaholic1 @Prairiegirl_reading I loved them as well, will have to see what others think...but I think I won't be able to resist buying it myself 6mo
