panThe story was pleasant enough. It's an obvious setup book for the rest of the series to follow, but it was a pretty weak book on its own. I do not think I will be sticking with the series.

so-soI am on the fence on this one. I liked the MC but the plot was a little lacking. Not only was it slow but there was not a subplot to help pull the story along. I also liked the idea of alternative worlds and it worked well in the story. Rating is 3.5ish ⭐
