Pickpick

Stress read - Anna Hackett has a number of series & I‘ve read books in each. The later ones are generally stronger than the earlier ones in terms of character development and consistency but they are all short, action romance (this series is also sci-fi/ futuristic) with a HEA and positioned in a larger story arc. They‘re not high literature but they‘re firmly within the cannon of their genre and great comfort reads. Recommended. ⬇️

GlassAsDiamonds Hunter is a series of three novellas that bridges Hackett‘s Gladiators House Galen and Gladiators House Rhine series‘. It won‘t make much sense without the larger story arcs and is spoiler heavy for the previous series but, for all the ongoing “OMG THERE ARE MORE HUMANS” just bugs me as a device, Hunter is a nice bridging of those series and the stories - a Christmas novella, and a Corsair and Casino wrap up respectively, are solid and enjoyable. 5y
