I've never read anything by her that was garbage.

Mistermandolin Very wise. It takes me about ten times longer to edit than to ‘create‘. One of many things I learned while toiling on my first novel. Only the greats can reel it off. The rest of us huff and puff. 4y

Breakfast with my daily short story. I bought THE COLLECTED CHERRYH many, many years ago and ended up ignoring it after FOREIGNER disappointed the hell out of me. (I‘ve gotta really love a character before I‘ll tolerate the sheer denseness Bren displays re: the mystery that drives the plot. I did not love Bren.) Now I‘ve plucked it off the shelf, and hey! The first story was great! Let‘s hope this keeps up.
