Razzle Dazzle: The Life and Works of Bob Fosse | Kevin Boyd Grubb
3 posts | 6 to read
Fosse changed the face of American dance, with dance movements of openly sexual postures, pelvic thrusts, slouched backs, and turned-in knees, and subjects just as scnadalous, bringing sleazy nightclubs, brothels and the porno world to the stage and screen in such hits as Cabaret, Sweet Charity and Star 80. Here is the story of his wild and flashy life. Photos throughout.

I just finished watching the miniseries Fosse/Verdon and have the music stuck in my head, especially this song from Chicago. #everybodyshappynowadays Their dancing was definitely #somethingnew but I‘m not sure that falling for Fosse was such a good thing for Verdon. #fallingforyou #RedRoseSeptember #SoulSeptember #SelfImprovementSept #multitasking

arlenefinnigan Not someone I'm at all familiar with tbh! 5y

rubyslippersreads @arlenefinnigan He was an award-winning Broadway and film director/choreographer (Caberet, Chicago, etc,) and a notorious womanizer. She was an award-winning musical comedy dancer/singer (Damn Yankees, Chicago, etc.) They had a very tumultuous marriage and professional collaboration, which made the miniseries interesting but sometimes painful to watch. 5y
