Eighteen-year-olds Sophia Darnell and Rachel Wolfhauser have been best friends since first grade. As they approach and go beyond their high school graduation, things become more complicated, but not for the reasons you might think. The church they attend together is becoming more and more progressive, as Pastor Brick Wesley calls it. Sophia thinks what this church is delving into may be dangerous, but Rachel doesn't agree – that is, until extreme circumstances force Rachel to see the undeniable truth. As Pastor Brick goes further and further beyond all sense and reason, will Sophia and Rachel be able to conquer the forces of darkness and the evil in their own hearts?
