And we need to rebel. Extinction Rebellion is a global activist movement of ordinary people, demanding action from Governments. This is a book of truth and action. It has facts to arm you, stories to empower you, pages to fill in and pages to rip out, alongside instructions on how to rebel - from organising a roadblock to facing arrest. By the time you finish this book you will have become an Extinction Rebellion activist. Act now before it's too late.

This combined some of the most powerful essays on climate change I‘ve ever read from so many important perspectives with some really valuable practical material on how Extinction Rebellion has organised collective action in London. Economics, city planning, indigenous perspectives, island nations, firefighting, tech breakthroughs, it covers so much. Probably the most I‘ve learned about climate change since This Changes Everything 💚💚

Insiberia Added to my “to read” list. Thank you ;) 5y

Guys guys guys! I wanted to correct my earlier post about this incredible collection - I couldn‘t have been more wrong when I said it would be uk-based, it covers the environment from so many perspectives and is looking like such an important book. Indigenous people from the Sahel, the Arctic and the Amazon, US firefighters, scientists, mountain farmers, a Maldives politician (just so far!), so much valuable material about the climate in here

saresmoore Stacked so fast! 5y

I strongly recommend this book of essays by Extinction Rebellion activists! I think it‘s mainly uk based (not very far through yet) but a lot of it will be applicable to the climate crisis in the US and other countries. Really thought-provoking, well-written essays so far, empowering rather than depressing. A great book for anyone not sure what to do about the state of the world
