With magic ever dwindling and destabilizing, a prince leaves the plush safety of his childhood home to rectify all that is slowly going to ruin. An ancient evil threatens to sweep across the land, but no one can say how or when. To prevent this from happening in the midst of decay, a relic must be found to lay the eldritch nightmare to rest. This will be no easy task as the prince finds himself ever isolated and in unfamiliar territory, with little understanding of the world around him. Even if he succeeds, there is no guarantee his efforts can prevent madness incarnate from seizing power.
