I grounded my mood board with a forest, because that's where I always turn for grounding. And took inspiration from the local beavers who are knocking things down to build something new, the bright and hopeful first flowers of Spring, the wise words of Bill Watterson, and a cursing horse. And always, always tea in my tired hands.

Congrats on your 200k milestone, @dabbe ! Here‘s my mood board. It‘s not super cheerful —every day since Jan. 20 has been more challenging than the day before it. Trying to maintain my resolve and commitment to making good trouble, but the mountain feels higher and more dangerous every time I can bring myself to look at the news. I worry about my Marine son, I worry about the economy and I worry if we‘ll even have a country next year. Mood: 😵‍💫

It‘s hard to sum up my feelings- late 40‘s mom of 2 teens working in a constantly changing industry and volunteering for environmental causes while the world burns. I think the roller coaster is the best representation!

Prairiegirl_reading I have worked with people with disabilities for almost 20 years. My organization supports people to WORK in the community, and they all pay taxes! So I know first hand that what he was saying is patently untrue. Not to mention what he said is so sickening regardless of whether or not a person can work or not. What an absolute asshole. I was just discussing with a colleague what we can do to combat this here in Canada. (edited) 2d

ncsufoxes As a mom of an Autistic teen I‘m disgusted & furious. I‘ve posted on FB several times about his horrible eugenics speech. I keep telling people to push back & don‘t normalize this idea. Autistic people are not a tragedy. They need support & services. They need people to stop stigmatizing their lives. We are not a broken family. We acknowledge there are hard days but people like worm brain make our lives harder. 1d
