I would use this book in my classroom for various things. The first thing I would use this for is to identify different parts of nature, weather, and the world around us. This story talks about different peoples beliefs on how the sky, sun, moon, and stars came to be. So, I would use this book for children to learn about different counties and peoples beliefs.

This is an award winning book about nature. This book acts as a story that explains nature through folklore about the heavens from many countries. It explains differently countries believes on how nature came to be.

“When the gods are angry, they roll a stone across the floor of the heavens”

This book tells the story behind everything in our world. I think the illustrations are a little bland but I still enjoyed all the allusions to our world.

The sun and the moon used to walk together, until one day, when they walked on a log across some mud and the moon slipped off. Her face was covered with mud. The sun could not wait for her to wash her face. He went ahead. The moon is still trying to catch up with him, and she still has a dirty face.

This book was so good and interesting. I feel like it would really spark children‘s imagination and help them learn about different cultures.
