“Steady, go that away”

This book would be an excellent addition to a classroom library. However, I would not use it in a classroom lesson because I would be concerned that it would confuse students, especially newer readers about which way we were supposed to read books from.

This book was interesting as it is done so that it can be read from either side of the book. While I found this strange I think that children would love it.

Picture Book

“This away that away and high above and far below“

This book had very interesting illustrations and line work, and overall an interesting setup with the page flipped vertically. The illustrations also follow in this pattern which is different but may be confusing for a new reader.

I am not sure if I would use this book in the classroom. It is a fun read for new readers but it lacks a plot or message. However would be a good book for students who are working on decoding words.

(picturebook)This book could be used in the classroom to work on rhyming. The pictures will intrigue students to listen to the rhyming words throughout the book.

(picturebook) This book is read/flipped vertically. It is about space and the wonders of the world. It has few words that mostly rhyme with huge pictures covering the pages.

I am not sure this book had a point. It says it‘s a two way story, but I don‘t get it. A blobby alien is coming down to earth and then under the sea. It will pass many things on the way. The illustrations are great and they only thing keeping this from being a one star read.
