She is 21 and he I think is maybe 32 or so, and while I've read plenty category romances over the years that featured a similar age gap it just seemed a little uncomfortable. Maybe because they‘re also step-cousins, and he says at one point he's waited 2 years for her to notice him as a man and not just her step-cousin. But there was lots of lovely banter that made me smile and at times laugh.
