This #audiobook, in the current #audibleUS 2-for-1 sale, was a great accompaniment to laundry day. While reading Ace, there was a person interviewed that just liked to understand relationships even if they didn‘t prefer to be in them. That‘s me. I loved this look not just at romantic love but also the love found in caring for family and in friendship, which is more relatable for me. The narration was full-cast and great. 4.5⭐️🎧

Megabooks @Cinfhen I think you‘d enjoy this one. 💖 4y

Or for a grieving mother to believe that a mother‘s love is so strong that the child she lost can still hear her singing a lullaby.

Overall, a really great collection of essays. Wish there was a little bit more socioeconomic and cultural diversity represented in the essays that were picked.

Have done a terrible job keeping track of my #24B4MONDAY challenge although I've been reading steadily all weekend. I am particularly enjoying this book of essays. Any tips on how to track my time better? Was trying to use one of those counting bookmarks, but I totally kept messing it up.

So I strained a muscle in my back and moving is awful. I thought this might be a good weekend to try #24B4MONDAY. Technically my timer is reading 2 hrs 12 minutes. But I only started timing myself around that time. I've been reading on an off all day whenever the muscle relaxants let me keep my eyes open. I've been enjoying mixing things up and reading all over the place. So far everything is interesting.

BlameJennyJane I hope you feel better! 4y

Catching up on my Edelweiss backlog... This is a complication of Modern Love columns from the New York Times, in preparation of some Netflix show that comes out in October. I was a little disappointed by the sparse diversity but liked the variety of topics within love, from dating to marriage to divorce to children to loss. An easy read of short personal stories.

This came out Sept. 3, 2019.

Lindy @ReadingEnvy Is it a complication as in a collective noun, or did you mean to say compilation? 5y
