Pickpick

After all the thrillers I was craving a cheesy YA and this hit the spot 📖 I really enjoyed this novel and I found myself binging it to see what would happen next ☺️ At 17 Tam loses her husband.. How will she cope with the lose of not only her love but also the future they had planned together..

I could not fine anything about this book or the character that was relatable. I may not be a young widow but I know grief. I‘ve lost loved ones. But not even on a grief level was it relatable. As I was reading she broke into a house with an old band mate that likes her, he just felt like he was gonna take advantage of her possible assault. Couldn‘t not handle that. Could not read after that point either.

Mehso-so

I thought this story was interesting because Tamsen is a 17 yr old widow. Most people at that age are worrying about what they are going to do after HS. I don't even like imaging losing my husband and the fact Tamsen did so quickly after they were married is heartbreaking. She grows and figures out who she is without Noah. This book was good but not great.

Haven't had the best luck today. Took me in at the beginning thinking it would be an interesting exploration of grief. Nope. Not even cheesy enough for me to get invested and want her to find love again. Sigh. DNF.
