We're back to fall after that 3 day winter weirdness. I have today off for Native American Day. We celebrate that day instead of Columbus Day in South Dakota. Met a friend for lunch, then a Nature Park walk, and now home to read. 😁
ljuliel I was just reading your post about Native American Day. I never knew that was a holiday ! Can you tell me if they have any sort of event for it to honor them ? How is it celebrated ? And I‘ve always been fascinated with North and South Dakota. I‘ve never gotten to SEE them, I always just picture them as being beautiful states with lots of space. Do you know if any other states celebrate this holiday, and what percentage of your population is 👇🏼 4y
ljuliel ☝🏼Native American ? It‘s fascinating to me , especially growing up where I have been my whole life. Just a plain little white bread town, so it‘d be really interesting to live amongst other nationalities, races, and traditions that we don‘t ever experience here. There‘s so much to learn from others ! 4y
