I've finally gotten round to reading this classic of cultural history.

Dilara And I learnt a German word: Satisfaktionsfähigkeit - “the acceptability as a challenger in duels“, as Hobsbawm helpfully explains. Not sure I'll ever need this word in real life, though... 5y
