pickThis book was heart wrenching. TW for torture and heartbreak. I do not enjoy sad books, but I wanted to read about a part of History I know very little of. Hungarian food was part of my family holidays, and funny story- my dad was in a coma for several days after a series of TIA‘s. His Dr was Hungarian and seeing my dads name spoke to him in Hungarian. My dad woke up answering him in Hungarian- even though I had never heard him speak it!
