Could you betray your government to save your country? Sam Barker works in IT at the Home Office. All he wants is to get his work done and enjoy a quiet existence. But when he’s caught up in a terrorist attack on the London Underground, his life is turned upside down. As he lies recovering in his hospital bed, a shadowy figure visits him and tells Sam not only is he a key witness to the attack, but he has unique access to information which could blow open a huge conspiracy and bring down the British government. Every other Adam Croft book I have read I have absolutely loved.... but sadly not this one. It lacks the twists and turns which are such a delight in everything else he writes. I guess this maybe because this is part 1 of a series, but i found it a real disappointment
