Now he has to sort out who's behind the crime wave and who's interfering in his business. Swift has a lot of old enemies and few friends. If he's going to save London from a rising tide of blood -- he's going to have to learn his lessons and fast.

This was an excellent last book in the Matthew Swift series. I love the world and the system of magic Griffin has set up in these urban fantasy novels. This last volume does such fantastic job of exploring Swift (+the electric blue angels) as a character, delving into his contradictions and strengths, and the casualties of those strengths. As with other volumes, I wanted more about certain characters, but being left wanting more isn‘t always bad.
