Good. Enjoyed the story but I don't think the author is for me as I read The Hourglass Factory and I didn't like the writing style on that but I thought I would give her another chance but it's just the same.

This book falls right in between "Pick" and "So-So" for me, but I'm going to recommend it anyway. It swept me along right up until the end and then I feel it let me down a little, but, to be fair, the heroine felt exactly the same way. And since one of the central themes of the book is about the dangers of letting a fantasy life build up too much… Worth the read, and very well researched.
