pickA postmodern collection of short stories that won the Governor General award in 1998. Each story unpacks a different story structure (the alphabet, a fairy tale, a scripture, a mystery). A story is told through the act of telling how a story is told. Like most postmodern fiction, it's clever and insightful while also rather detached and biting. But kinda fun, too.
