Finished up 2019 with stitching and poetry!
There was something about meeting the author, a man of similar age and background to my own great-grandfather, that made me enjoy the poetry that much more. Standing alone without that context, the works themselves are average, a few having clever twists or outstandingly pretty lines. Overall, the book serves to show that dedication and passion for the craft can pay off at any age.
