Casually thumbed through this and started reading the first page to get a feel for it and now I am hooked🤦🏻‍♀️Historical angsty romance about werewolves in 1700s Scotland? Ok.

Mehso-so

I am keen to read the next one, but this one ended up more melancholy than I had anticipated.

The story had some great things about it—world building, solid writing, Scottish werewolves—but it also had a lot of lows. I wish the second book was out so that I could feel better about it—I‘m confident that good will triumph over evil in the end, and they‘ll live happily ever after
