This book was interesting and creeped me out in a lot of parts but the authors writing style was extremely tedious to me. She repeated the same things constantly just rewording them in different ways and by the end of the book I was no longer invested in the story. Im sure this book was cathartic for the author to write though as she is a former Mormon and her upbringing and decision to leave the church were not easy.

This was a great little horror read. A woman becomes possessed by the demon Naamah. Honestly, you could read many parts of this book as not a woman possessed by an entity but just a woman who is angry, holding that anger in until it manifests into something monstrous. Really enjoyed this one

Reading this late at night in the living room, MC is hearing scratching/tapping in her house and at the same time I‘m reading this I hear scratching and little running in my attic above me 😫😭💀 thankfully mine is (probably) a squirrel and not a demon (hopefully) 😂

The first of many Beatles books I‘m going to be tackling this year ✨ heard really good things about this one from uber fans of the band and I like that it has an emphasis on not just the band but what was going on in the sixties at the time and how the two impacted each other.

LaraS Ooo looks interesting. This Boy was recently recommended to me too, I might just have to read a Beatles double header next year 4mo

Trauma trauma trauma. This book was ok but toward the end I really wanted it to end. Felt like one long therapy session. I enjoyed the main characters Matty and Logan but this novel dragged, not much actually happened and had sad themes.

I understand peoples issues w/ the characters, Josh is arrogant, pessimistic & rigid, Ari is flighty, crass (this book is definitely sex positive) & there are plenty of lines & things she does where I was like CRINGE but I loved the NYC feel, loved the dialogue, I wanted them to be together AND Josh was obviously Adam Driver (the author wrote him really well too) and the spicy scene was 🔥 Also I‘m not embarrassed to admit I cried like 3 times

Book 4 in the Creature Feature collection 🦠 This one was my least favorite, his writing style is a little choppy to me and although the story about what happened at the baseball game was cool and trippy, it was overall a little boring and ended abruptly

The first in the Amazon Creature Feature collection and I really liked this one! This was also my first time reading Joe Hill, now I want to read more from him! Can anyone suggest a good Joe Hill book? This short story was also Folk horror vibes and now I want to read more like it

A cute sapphic novel between the goth loner chick and peachy clean cheerleader set in the early 2000s, add in a zombie cat and witchcraft what‘s not to love? This was a cute novella, sweet and spooky, I‘ll be reading the rest in the series and also the novels about Babe and Dude. #Septemberromance

I don‘t even know what to say. This is a smutty novella about a woman who gets it on with her front door 🚪. The book is told from the doors POV, there is small plot involving murder and also little cameos from a couple Greek gods. Would I recommend this? No lol not really. Is this the worst thing I‘ve ever read? Actually, no lol. I‘m going to count this as a #Septemberromance read ✅🍂♥️🚪

Im listening to this on Hoopla and I‘m loving it so much! The prose is so over the top and adorably gothic and the narration is so good, I love how she does Sally‘s voice. Great read so far for my #SeptemberRomance 🪦♥️🍂 also I love how they described Valentines Day Town it was so sickly sweet ♥️🍂

I listened to the audiobook of this, made it my little ritual while I was doing the dishes at night. It was intriguing and relaxing, I loved whoever did the voice for Julia Day. This is a solid crime novel, I enjoyed it and would read more books from this author centered around Julia. This book really wasn‘t twisty or shocking, just a good British crime novel. Felt like I was watching a tv series lol

This book was crazy. Like every chapter ended with something vaguely ominous, it was kind of ridiculous but made me keep reading. I actually did NOT expect the twist and was like WHAT. I thought it was really clever how that panned out. This was a solid fun thriller ⭐️⭐️⭐️

So cool that #BOTM has audiobooks now! It‘s a fun option if your not interested in the picks and don‘t want to skip. This was really good. Pretty triggering if you were raised by a BPD mother or if you‘ve suffered from a eating disorder. Would definitely recommend the audiobook as Jennette does a great job, you even hear her get emotional a couple times. I‘m sure this was cathartic to write. Happy healing girl ✨❤️‍🩹

I don‘t usually read contemporary romance, they tend to be too trendy and fluffy for my taste ( Where‘s the angst and morally grey, definitely problematic love interest??) BUT wow!! This was SO CUTE. I LOVED Ellie and Jack (Jack was 🔥) I loved all the tropes and all the quipy characters. This is my least favorite Grady book. It slogged for the first half and I found the inner dialogue to be repetitive. But in true Grady fashion many parts made me laugh and it was campy and ridiculous and there was some real life heart sprinkled amidst the insane chaos. KAKAWEWE!

This will be the last book I force myself to finish. Life‘s too short. This book is written well and the characters are well written and interesting. The content was not for me. I would not have picked this book up had I known the age gap. lots of parts made me uncomfortable and I couldn‘t justify the relationship. I did hope to see things work out for Wavy and her brother so I finished it. ⭐️⭐️1/2 #botm

This book was really good! Gritty 90s YA about werewolves, the protagonist was so cocky and confident I loved her. I loved the whole pack and mythos the author came up with. I Can‘t wait to read Silver Kiss, will love seeing what this author can do with Vamps #12Challenge

normasue This is one of my all time favorites! So happy to see someone else enjoy it. I love the cover art of this edition. There is a movie made of this book but they completely changed it. It's not entirely horrible if you go into it knowing it's not the same and you just want a short werewolf flick, but still the book is way better. 10mo
