Thank you for passing this along to me, @catiewithac As per usual, your package came at just the right time. I was also really excited about the Washi tape - I had been covering them for a while, but never pushed the purchase button, so thank you! Lastly, the card was beautiful! The best design I‘ve seen yet 😊
Average cosy mystery set in post-WWII England. The writing isn‘t particular strong nor are the characters. The Devonshire moors and country village in summertime are the real stars here. I‘ll probably read more from this author just because she sets her novels in various rural English counties. 🛖 🌾
This was just what I needed for a hot Saturday afternoon and evening. The story rattled along nicely. But now I want scones (mmmmm Devonshire cream) and it is too hot to bake 🥵
The protagonist of The Women of the Copper Country, which I just finished, was named Annie Clements.
Now I have just met her name twin, Anne Clements, in Murder in the Mill-Race.

Oh my. This is really good. A clever mystery with a brilliant setting and a very well worked out resolution. Would happily read more by Lorac. Which is good because I have another one on the shelf!
